Go Boston!

I'm happy to see that the Red Sox won last night. Although, I'm sad to see baseball ending for the year. I do truly enjoy watching it. I'm starting to get the hang of football though, so maybe by the time this season is over, I'll be a football fan as well.

Doug's apartment is finally coming together we spent about 3 hours just getting the teeny tiny kitchen organized last night. I washed every last dish he had and he cleaned all the cabinets and walls. There are still a few things to buy yet, but pretty soon it'll be done.

One more update. I got a new car almost exactly one week ago. I love it! It is a silver 2001 Ford Taurus. I couldn't be happier and it is alot less stress knowing that I have reliable transportation at the moment.

Tomorrow night is the big haunted house night. We went to a lame one here in town last weekend and I hated it, but I survived. So I'm sure I'll survive this one as well.

Does anyone have a new car that they could give me?? My poor car is about to go to crap. It's leaking oil almost as fast as I put it in there. Can anyone help me, please???

Exciting things, the Red Sox are apparently making a comeback. Desire had her baby Sunday. Doug's moving this weekend. And I am going to make my first trip ever to a haunted house Friday night. Yes, I am truly that lame. I am 24 years old and have never set foot in a haunted house. To be quite honest, I am petrified! I just looked up the prices and it is $36 for some double pass that we are getting. $36?? For someone to scare me? Is it just me or does that seem a little ridiculous? Oh well. Everything will be okay, right?

So I have decided at this late hour to make a scrapbook for Leah for her birthday. Nothing major, just a 7" x 7" album. I have just one problem. I can barely find any current pictures, and I know they are out there. I have one potential solution. I could ask Mary if she would be willing to let me copy the pictures she has, because I know she has tons of them. Unfortunately, Mary and I haven't spoken in several months and I hate to call her up just for a favor, not to mention that she might decide to outdo me and put together her own scrapbook or collage of photos. So I guess I won't be doing that. Oh well. I guess I'll just keep searching, surely these pictures will turn up.

Limits

What is wrong with me??? The very second I decide to actually do something about my weight (mostly so my jeans will fit!) I immediately want to eat everything in the house along with every fast food indulgence I can imagine. Can you taste the McDonald's french fries?? It's the same way with money. As soon as I start thinking about budgeting my money I come up with a hundred things I think I need to buy and my budget goes out the window. But on the other hand, I have no problem limiting myself when it comes to exercising or going back to school. I seriously think I have problems.
